April’s colour of the month is Tangerine, from Spring/Summer 2010′s Filigree trend. Be prepared to see this vibrant hue popping up in striking interiors, architectural projects and newly released products such as Alessi’s latest range which we previously previewed.
One of Mix’s favourite uses of this colour that has been spotted recently is in Dutch studio Arco’s latest collection. We discovered this range produced in warm Tangerine leather at Design Post, Cologne, while visiting the city earlier this year. By combining such a cheeky colour with a minimal structure, a sense of fun can be added to a room without appearing childish or garish.
