A micro-trend that we are seeing everywhere at the moment is the matt luxury trend. A favourite of Mix Publications, Liberty of London has recently collaborated with Milan’s 10 Corso Como, a concept store that is due to be featured in Mix Issue 19′s guide to i Salone. We popped down to Liberty’s central London home to see the new range.
The colours are very subtle sorbets, much like the Gran trend palette published in Mix Trends Issue 19. By combining these colours with a modern reworking of a traditional Liberty print, the garments produced are sophisticated yet more friendly than the white-on-black accessories included in the colleciton.
