We’ve been out and about seeking the best of the graduate shows, and undoubtedly The Royal College of Art stood out for us. Spotted by our Director of Creative Projects Laura Perryman was the work displayed in the Textiles department. From rapid prototyped accessories, to texturally tantalizing woven and knitted fabric innovations, the show produced many future talents. One to watch is Ejing Zhang who’s approach of textiles for life and art, exhibited a collection of material and fabrics that challenge the future of wearable’s. Zhang displayed a 3D printed tote bag made in collaboration with Architecture student Weilong Xie.
