The home of Mix Publications, bringing you all the latest colour and design trend information!
As always at Global Color Research we like to keep and eye on up and coming designers that are helping to influence new design. Netherlands based designer Rachel Griffin’s work, under the banner of Earnest Studio, involves a great deal of in-depth research. What Griffin likes best is looking at industrial and traditional production methods and finding new and innovative ways to address sustainability. Currently her work features a mix of self initiated projects and industry collaborations. Here at Global Color Research we particularly like her Face Value series of low tables, made of three interlocking faces and varying in texture, colour and cost. Each face can be mixed and matched as the tables are constructed without glue and be configured in a line or stacked as shelving.
